So, something that has been very exciting in my life, was when I was contacted by a New York City publisher about a book idea that they had, a photography guide book, but specifically aimed at teenagers.
They saw this as a gap in the market, and contacted me, after I set up a photography group on Flickr for teenagers, which currently has over 10k members, clearly quite a large market emerging!
After a few emails back and forth, it ended up that we were planning the table of contents, and things were moving forwards. Cutting the story short, a couple of years later, and there I am, holding a copy of the book, an amazing feeling!
The book is scheduled for a March release in the United States, and a June release in the United Kingdom. As far as I know there are releases scheduled for other countries too, Amazon seems to have copies available on many international stores for sale.
The book that I wish was written 5, 10, 15 years ago. Perfect for someone picking up the camera for the first time or someone interested in improving their photographs.
